From the North (M6 junction 36)
Turn East onto the A65 towards Kirkby Lonsdale at the first roundabout, turn right onto the A6070,signposted Holme and Burton.
After approx 3 miles, turn right into the village of Holme.
The Smithy is in the centre of the village.
Entrance to the car park is to the right of the pub.
From the south (M6 junction 35)
Follow the motorway link road to the roundabout on the A6. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit, signposted Milnthorpe. At the next roundabout keep right, and take the second exit, A6070, signposted Burton. Take your time here, the turnoff is quite sharp. Follow the A6070 for 2.8 miles, through the village of Burton and then for a further mile before the left turn into the village of Holme. The Smithy is on your right in the centre of the village. Entrance to the car park is to the right of the pub.
From the West
The village of Holme can be accessed from the A6 near to the Wildlife Oasis Animal Park along indistinct roads or from the road by the side of Beetham Garden Centre.
From the East
If approaching along the A65, turn left at the roundabout just before the M6, onto the A6070, signposted Holme and Burton After approx 3 miles, turn right into the village of Holme. The Smithy is on your right in the centre of the village.
Entrance to the car park is to the right of the pub.
